Jennifer Piech as Prof. Simmons
Jennifer was raised in Cinnaminson, New Jersey for most of her childhood, spending some formative years in Atlanta, Georgia. She considers herself a Jersey Peach. She received her BA from the College of William and Mary in VA (Phi Beta Kappa). She took time off to raise her two children in New York City and is thrilled to be back with a fresh perspective, energy and passion.
Her film credits include a great cameo in Ed Harris’s “Pollock” and the soon to hit festivals Independent Feature “To The Flame” by Alex Webb. Her television credits include Law & Order SVU, Dellaventura with Danny Aiello, All My Children, she also appeared on the Rosie O’Donnell show and the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade show as her character, Kate McGowan, from the original Broadway production of “Titanic.”
Her theatre credits include originating the role of Kate McGowan in the Broadway production of “Titanic” where she won the award for Outstanding Broadway Debut from the Friends of NY Theatre. Other Broadway includes Arthur Miller’s “The Ride Down Mount Morgan” starring Patrick Stewart, numerous off-Broadway, National and Inter-national Tours. Favorite regional experiences include shows at the Walnut St. Theatre, Meadowbrook Theatre, Huntington Theatre, American Conservatory Theatre, Goodspeed, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, etc. Many workshops and readings of plays and/or screenplays in development – which she loves!
Jennifer lives in New York City with her husband, Carl Pasbjerg, General Manager and owner of Alchemy Production Group, and their two children.
